ownedueasy
Ok so somewhere I read that a stock grand cherokee drop pitmann arm will work as a 4 inch drop arm on an mj? Please give me more details on this
Eagle
The ZJ pitman gives you about a 1-inch drop, not 4 inches. It also causes moderate bump steer. Generally not recommended. Why do you think you need a dropped pitman arm?

dankicksass
You only need a drop pitman arm with a dropped/modified track bar mount, and not all replacement or modified track bar mounts require them at that. Your track bar and drag link should be parallel for best performance. EDIT: the imaginary line between the pivot points on each bar should be parallel. In reality, most track bars and drag links are bent.

Incommando
I am at 5.5" in the front and I have zero bump steer issues with the factory pitman arm and a RE adjustable track bar.
