Bobolink Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Can anybody tell me why, when I click on the "quote" button at the bottom right of someone's post, that any reply that I write will not include the quote? I cannot get a quote to post, whether I use the quote button or the muit-quote. Neither one works. It simply sends me to a window to type the reply without a quote.
Bobolink Posted November 3, 2014 Author Posted November 3, 2014 Here, I just tried to quote myself.... see? no workie!!

88ComancheMitch Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Clicked multiquote vs. reg quote this time.
88ComancheMitch Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Make sure you click "Quote" instead of "MultiQuote"
Bobolink Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 I've tried clicking both quote and multiquote, but neither seems to do anything. I just clicked the quote button on your post above, in order to reply to your post #5, but as you can see, all that happens is that I get the empty reply box in which to type. I do get an advanced typing box, with all the font choices, etc after clicking the quote button, but there's still no quote included.
Bobolink Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 I am now trying something new here....I have clicked on mutliquote, and there's a box at lower right of screen with a green button that says "Reply to 1 quoted post(s)" Now I'll click on that when I'm through typing to see what happens. Nothin' happened..........
Bobolink Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 Okay...did that, but didn't help.... this post was supposed to quote you, but it didn't.
Pete M Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 dang. usually the weird things are fixed that way. :(
Bobolink Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 Aw, no sweat. Thanks for tryin'. I can live with weird.
