Any newer vehicle suggestions?

So many people were suggesting Grands to me that I am putting them more in my line of consideration. I was the thinking last generation ('99-05?). Little features going out bugs me tons.

 

99-04 is the WJ, 05&up is the WK. Drive a couple GrandCherokees and see what you think.

So I drove a Grand and it wasn't really for me. I need a car, because it's my nature to be hard on a truck or SUV.

 

I found an '01 Audi A4 Avant, and it's pure sex. I think I will buy it tonight.

 

The credit union, however, is charging me 11.75% interest because of my lack of credit...

My dad is cosigning with me and he has a credit rating of 813, but the interest rates are based solely on my rating.

 

Thought you all might find the interest rate interesting.

Wow. thats a real high rate.... have you looked around online... most of the major credit car companies offer financing for cars. When I had the black 01 xj I went through capital one auto finance.. i think the rate was 6.25

Anyone with credit over 730 gets 5.25% interest.

 

Parents said they may just give me a loan at 6% themselves, but that won't let me build credit. We're pretty sure that the credit union's trying to screw us, so we may take out money elsewhere.
