Had the truck repainted 3 years ago. Not a speck of rust on the bed, shop said the truck bed looked like new and did not have to be painted. Now, the truck has also had a SnugTop shell on it since it was new. Maybe that is part of the reason there is no rust in the bed. thejim42 Posted July 12, 2014 Share Posted July 12, 2014 I have never liked plastic bedliners because when stuff gets underneath them and plugs the drains water gets trapped under them. That's why the promote rust if you don't have some sort of cover. I put a roll-in in my 88 swb.
