CEThomas
I found a guy that has a ax5 for a 2.5, been told that the 3rd gear grinds a little. How hard would it be to overhaul it??? He has it for $50 OBO , only problem is it's in AZ so shipping is going to run about $85 to get it back to Ohio. Charles

Charles not that I know of, however, I "believe" that you can use the bellhousing from an early 90's dakota, as they had the AX-15 as well. CEThomas
The local JY has a couple bell housings from 88-93 2.5 Dakotas. Would that work to fit the ax-15 to my 2.5?? Charles
Kenosha Warrior
yep, or I heard, (mjeff87 posted this) that AdvanceAdapters has an adapter out to mate a ax-15 to a 2.5L
mjeff87
AA has a kit, if you're loaded.... You can cobble together the same thing with a Dakota bellhousing, a Camaro clutch and a CJ pilot bushing/bearing. There's a huge post over on Pirate that explains it all.
