The 86 'manche

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new here. I recently salvaged a 86 comanche out of my grandparents front yard. She's a 2.5l 5 speed long box. Far from running but totally going to be worth every penny.

I spent way to much time cleaning....if only I had a picture of the inside (covered from the dash to the floor in walnuts and what not).

I've quickly got to work diagnosing some problems. I pulled the head off and right away could tell the first cylinder was a major issue 

 

 

It's pretty badly pitted, and looking like I'm going to be boring it.

Looks like a straight body and that interior looks great. Welcome to the club!

Great find. Aside from the engine issue it looks to be in great shape. The original black interior is awesome.
