MattyB
Well, I joined up here awhile back and I never really did much on here because I was too damn busy working on my '99 (yes, its technically a 1990- but not much from the cab forward is...) Comanche. To make a really long (10mo. project) story short I took a sad 1990 Pioneer LB from a guy's back yard and an equally sad wrecked 1999 Cherokee Sport and made "Manbearpig". It has the full OBD-2 swap w/'99 HO motor/AX-15/231J w/SYE, full dash swap w/doors (power) and front clip. It was a pain in the butt to build and convert many of the MJ parts to late model XJ, I might even share some of the insanity to save a lot of headache that I encountered and never found answers for. In any event, my name is Matt and this is Manbearpig:

MattyB
Thanks, I'll try and get some more pics up this weekend. It was a ton of work modding the firewall for the dash and re-working the body harness (taking out the rear door circuits & hatch circuits), the fuel system was kind of fun (still working on that one). I'm running the stock tank with an upgraded Bosch fuel pump (from Napa) and using a Volkswagen inline fuel filter with internal pressure regulator to get the right fuel delivery (not to mention it has feed/return on the inlet side and a single outlet so it lends itself to adapting a returnless system to a truck with an old tank like our MJ's). The newer dash/doors/console are my favorite part! Definitely worth the blood sweat and tears!!!
