benjy_26
these to are on 30" tires here is a few of my Hell Creek 3" lift springs side by side with my stock springs and this is how she sits 1 1/2 years later on 32" tires How do the HC springs ride? Have you loaded them up? Also, did you have to do much trimming to get 32's on your comanche? I'm at 3" with 31's and I rub when I crank the wheel while going backwards. lil_loco
You can only use the front from the Cherokee. Rear springs are wrong for the Comanche. If the Cherokee has a rear AAL you can use that but it will only give you about half the lift as on the Cherokee. And as stated above short and long bed Comanche are the same.really? I got xj leafs no issue in mine. MJ leafs are 57" & XJ's are 52". Didn't you post about just buying your MJ and the lift being all jacked around on it? If XJ leafs bolt-on I would say so.... It started with a 4.5" lift set for an xj/mj before the mystery pack went in. which occurred at a time I thought I was paying someone to do something legit (soa plus axle swap) then had to repo it from them to find they swapped it for that bastard-pack mess (aka stole my new springs). It's too long a story to get into. The OEM rear shackles are 1-2" longer than stock xj which helps reduce the variance. And is a nice bonus to boost ones xj cheaply. johnr
as for the ride. the back end feels ok, it certainly dose not jump around when its empty. I think the ride is kind of harsh in the front. I would like to do a long arm some day. have not loaded it down to badly its my toy. the most I ever had in it was maybe 600lbs of landscape supplies. I can't say it squatted to badly. as far as the rub and the cut it took me a year to finaly chop off the bottom of the front fender up to the side marker lights. in the back I have trimed about 1/2" from the front and back about 8" from the bottom of the fenders. I also have about 3" of bump stops in the front and back to keep the wheel from stuffing all the way up. I still have pretty good flex, the front axle drops really great. I have the Rubicon 3.5" super flex lift on the front
nitroxsteve
Odd cause I'm sure we put in an xj lift kit and it sat level. I know the shackles are different though. If you use a lift with AAL from an XJ it will work but it will give less lift in the rear. Some XJ kits use blocks, this will not work as the MJ is spring under. Some XJ kits use complete springs, this will not work because they are too short. I have a XJ kit with AAL on my truck. It gave me 3" of lift in the front and 1-1.5" in the back. This makes the truck sit about 1" taller in the back and I like the look.
Brandon
will the 4.5 inch rough country lift work or are they just stupid?
