Just wondering if the NP 207 is a good or bad TC to me it seems pretty much the same as the 231 the vacuum switch I bought was for a NP231 and It fit right in my 207!

The chain is wider than the 231's,but the planetary gears have less contact area in relation to each other. I'd say, strength-wise, it's a toss up, though the 231 does have a much better aftermarket.

Thanks so not worth swapping for a 231?

Depends... what are your plans for your truck?  If it's pulling DD/utility/light wheeling duties, I'd say keep it. If you plan on going hardcore with it or doing an engine/tranny swap, get a 231.
