AlienVibes
I've been wondering about this for a few months now. Not exactly sure what to call it besides a clip. On the 4.0L It's where the front fuel line connects to the fuel rail. I will post a picture of the one on my truck (IGNORE THE RUBBER RING. THE LINE LEAKS AND I WAS TRYING THAT TO STOP IT.) I need to know if there's anywhere to buy these clips? My brother said he's went to a few part stores and they don't have it. Mine broke one day after the picture of course.. Then I have another problem. Even when that clip is in all the way, it leaks fuel badly from the line. Looking at another Comanche in a junk yard it had a second plastic piece inside of the fuel rail. Any idea what that is? And, where I can buy that too? Stacks
They are usually called a fuel line quick disconnect. Locally here NAPA, Autozone, Oreilly's, Carquest all carry them. They come in different sizes for different diameter fuel lines and sometimes there's a distinction by auto manufacturer... Ford, GM etc. I replaced mine when I put a new fuel rail on. I don't recall if there were ones specifically labeled for Jeeps but I believe the GM ones are the same. Take one of the old ones with you to NAPA and if they don't happen to have it in stock they can get it quickly. Hope that helps a bit. AlienVibes
Thank you. That helps a lot. I got the truck in January and all we knew what was wrong is we turned the key and fuel dumps out.
AlienVibes
Now, about the part that goes inside the fuel rail separate from the clip? Unless that's just part of the clip that was broken off too.
