86mjmanche Posted April 28, 2014 Share Posted April 28, 2014 Hello all I just acquired a 1986 2.1 turbo diesel with 81xxx miles no rust no rot but the only thin I can't figure out is the timing... Symptoms- hard start,long crank time and when it does start it has a very erratic idle like a lope between 1500-500 rpm and smokes a lot of blue/white smoke but when up around 3000 rpm nothing runs great?? It had the pump replaced before I got it an I have never owned one of these... So any help would be great Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
