Mj /xj Rear End

Is the only difference in a XJ rear end the spring pad location and shock mounts. Need to know what it takes to put one under a MJ .I'ts a 91 stock 2wd. longbed.What year XJ  is best to look for.Thanks

That, and the length of the e-brake cables I believe. Best year XJ to look for is 97 and later with the 29 spline Chrysler 8.25. Dana 44 strength, cheap and easy to find.
