I think you're good. Look at where her head is in relation to the back of the seat, that's about where an adults head would be.

Probably done that way so airbags and such would ddeploy properly.

As long as it's secured well it shouldn't go anywhere.

You also gotta think that the average car hitting you broadside would push in below where she is. That has to be better than hitting right at head level or chest level.

 

I believe it's fine too.

Of course you might have a problem if she opens the door with her foot.
