Bonkers
So the previous owner had a little fender bender: Just curious on any thoughts. You can hardly see the dent in this pic, but trust me its there. The remains of the old talight are actually pretty square if it helps perspective. Do you think that if I bent that housing out and hammered it mostly straight I'll be able to re-mount the tailight without damaging it? Or should I look into a replacement quarter and just cut the whole thing out?
jimoshel
A good body man could have that worked out in 5 minutes. 4 if he didn't have to take a break. Don't make things any harder than you have to.

Babyblack86
That sheet metal is soft. Work it straight with a pair of vice grips. Hell, I straighten bumpers with a pipe wrench!
Babyblack86
By the way, did you find a tail light yet?
Bonkers
If you guys think it'll be that easy then Ill trailer it over to my body guy next week and see what itll run me. By the way, did you find a tail light yet? Yeah, picked up a set for (apparently) a screaming deal locally along with some other trim work. Still waiting to hear back about that roll bar - I sent you a PM and Txt but never heard back.
Babyblack86
It's not factory. 99% sure it's Ford. Put it in the back of one of my LB and it just doesn't sit right. Need to fabricate some custom brackets to make it work. P.S. That little DIY dent may cost you 500.00 at a body shop.
