jimoshel Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 pulling a MJ transmission. 1977 J20, one of Jeeps better creations. That thing gained weight. 20 years ago when I put in a new clutch disc and pressure plate, I lifted it up and put it in place with one hand while I lit my cigar with the other. This time it was a real chore getting it out. I must be getting old, or something. NAH. Just the wind and cold. Rusty floorboards must be a Jeep thing. This is the only rust on the whole truck. Reckon I'll weld in a new floor while I'm at it.
Comanche County Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 T176 or T98/D20? or the super cool granny low T18? Either way its pretty heavy... Call me next time, I'll hold your cigar for you. :brows:
FrankTheDog Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Should be a T18A with the granny gear. I had one that looked identical to that. Traded it for a MJ 44 and a tailgate. I needed them. I didn't need the T18.
