airspeed
Replacing rear axle bearings and not sure which is the right one. I have one from NAPA and one from Autozone and the center bearing is the one I took out of the axle. Did I have the wrong bearing in there to start with? richasco
Only way to know for sure is to post the part numbers.
AeroNautical
The center bearing looks identical to what I have in my 29 spline 8.25, so I'd say it's correct. I can't vouch for the other two, though. They don't look right.
airspeed
The p/n on the bearing I took out is Torrington DB-50185 and also a TXXXX
JeepcoMJ
The two you got are incorrect. The replacement will look. Identical to what you took out. You have idiots at your parts stores.
Strokermjcomanche
I'm not sure what kinda timeline your on but I can check with the parts attire I worked at 5 years ( mom and pop place ) and I can cross reference that for you .
airspeed
The more I look around online in the different forums and the parts available, the one I pulled out is the correct one. The cherokeeforum, jeepforum, youtube all show a bearing like the one I pulled. I'm going to take my used bearing down to the parts store and see if they can match the Torrington p/n. These axle bearings don't seem bad or worn to me, it could be a carrier bearing.
