jimoshel
but still Jeep. The last couple times I tried to use Goldie, '77 J20, I had trouble shifting and one h*ll of a noise when I pushed in the clutch pedal. Today I went to move a trailer and I couldn't get it into gear. Getting annoyed (annoyed. That's French for p*ssed off) and tore into it. This is what I found. \ Gotta check my stock pile. If I can't find what I need I may be out of luck. Anybody got any Jeep parts? Clutch release lever is the biggy. Throw out bearing carrier. May just use this as an excuse to switch over to an automatic. I'm getting to old for this shet. FrankTheDog
Those parts should be available new. Try crown automotive. If they don't have it, they probably can point you in the right direction. Probably available at napa too.
jimoshel
They only go back to 1980 for the SJ. Nothing for the '77.
jeepdoggydogB
Hello Jim, These folks might be able to steer in the right direction. http://www.bjsoffroad.com/ProdList.asp?scat=20 I found these guys when I was considering buying a J20 a few years back. FrankTheDog
I checked their web site and they only list the fork for the buick engined J20's and post 1980. Same with crown.
