I just got done hooking up the wiring on my Dakota tank and was wondering if it should be pumping out gas when I turn switch on. I have a short line hooked up to go in a gas can to catch it. Or does it have to be hooked up to the fuel line on the comanche/cherokee ? I thought the fuel pump would come on when I turned on the ignition key? Wondering if fuel pump is bad?
