onlyinajeep726 Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Just based on a quick glance, I think the front half of the carpet from an XJ will work in my MJ, but does anyone here know for sure? I figure there will be some cutting involved, but other that than, is it a straight forward swap?
cody4359 Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 It will fit funny. I'm pretty sure mine had xj carpet and it worked bit just didnt seem right. I forget the name, but i bought a new mj carpet for not too much
danbyrambler Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 It'll be close - I put XJ carpet in my '89 & '87 - - Both had/have buckets wi long consoles - made seams pretty easy to measure/figure/conceal - - :wrench:
