XJ OEM Radio / Cassette Player

I think in 1993 the OEM XJ radio started coming with a clock option, like below. Has anyone tried plugging one of these into our older MJ's w/o clocks on the radios? Everything work? Thanks

Looks just like the one I stuck in mine, also from a newer XJ, and it worked great.

the wire colors are different but the applications may be the same. I put one in a 96 cherokee that i sold...worked great except the backlight was bad.

Yes, that's what I remember - now. I tried putting one of these in a few years ago, and the backlight did not work. Must come in on a different wire; should be an easy fix. Thanks for jogging my memory.

Not yet, Brutha. My lifes in the $hitter at the moment. But I never let go of my goals and another MJ is out there just gotta find it. GAWD do I miss my old 86!!
