87manche1 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Ok wel guys I've been wanting to do this for some time as I don't have a/c and I like to offroad. I like rocks but sometimes u have to hit the water. 88 4.0, first I remove the belt, remove the idler pulley and a/c bracket. Remove alt and all brackets. Cut 2 ears from the idler pulley they are the perfect space. One of these spacers goes onto the small tab to a/c mount Next take the steel alt bracket trim to fit. At the alt this is your second spacer location. I am running this with the mechanical fan for now. Belt I grabbed at a jy for testing if needed I can get a p#. I'm sure ill have more on this. And I need to grab an upper radiator hose for an a/c truck.
GirsMJ86 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Well, found yet another thing I need to add to my to do list. I HATE how inaccessible the alternator is on these things. Got some bigger/better pics though? Quick search on google was only turning up useless links on naxja and such where the pics are no longer active or it was meant for HO rigs. Also, is the a/c radiator hose required?
87manche1 Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 Pm me ur email ill send them to you. Hose is required the one on there now doesn't allow hood to close.
