az comanches Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Have a question about the vacuum harness where it goes into the valve cover. The one on my 88 4.0 I had to pratically rip it out of the valve cover. The 89 I recently bought has a harness that goes into a grommet nice and easy. Was there a change between 88 and 89, and l would like to put the 89 style on the 88. Appreciate any insight. Thanks
cruiser54 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Probably just the difference between old and new. They made a small change to the orifice size in the rear hose after 87.
az comanches Posted November 3, 2013 Author Posted November 3, 2013 Thanks Cruiser, I need to get both front and rear ones ordered. I live in Williams area, have got family in Williamson Valley. If you see a silver LWB with silver topper on it that's probably me. Try to go to peddlers pass at lleast once a month. Thanks again Steve
cruiser54 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I live in Williamson Valley!! Right near Granite Mountain Stables. White longbed MJ with a bed toolbox.
az comanches Posted November 4, 2013 Author Posted November 4, 2013 Know right where that's at, been to too many yard sales in that area lol. My brother lives north of you at Cross Mountain Ranch, I think that's what it's called. It's entry is the one across from that BLM fire station. I saw your post on the bigger batteries, I think l'll give that a shot in my LB. I get my batteries from that place in Prescott, can't think of the name, but can't beat their price. Well thanks again, maybe we'll run into each other sometime in Prescott. Thanks again. steve
cruiser54 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Crossroads Ranch. Budget Batteries? Let me know when you're coming this way.
az comanches Posted November 4, 2013 Author Posted November 4, 2013 Those are the places. Still have a little life left in the battery, probably head down that way towards the end of the month, T-giving.
