Comanchemodder Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I'm getting ready to swap in a 2.5L from a YJ. There are some differences in the engine and need to address them before the swap. Below is a pipe on the engine which leads to the heater. My MJ doesnt have this pipe. The pipe looks pretty rusted and I don't want any issues after the fact. Should I replace the pipe (dealer part?)? Is this different than MJ designs (I can't compare to my MJ since it is a one-off previous owner special). Is this steel pipe intended to clear the belt whereas just a heater hose to the manifold would interfere?
