Oddmodman
Got a '92 NP242J and accompanying front driveshaft, 4.0 radiator, chrome grill and chrome light-brackets or whatever they're called, chrome mirrors, a pair of chrome door handles, assorted engine hoses, and an HO throttle body, all for 140 bones! Great deal or what?
Geonovast
Just the 242 is well worth the $140. Sounds like a nice score to me.
Oddmodman
That's what I figured. Anyone know how to restore and protect the chrome trim pieces?
Oddmodman
PS, those chrome mirrors and chrome handles are heavy! Like actually made out of metal lol.
jimoshel
Clean them up real good first. Wash with soap and water. After thoroughly drying, a coat of wax.
Oddmodman
So you don't clearcoat? Just wax?
