Wrz Posted June 20, 2013 Share Posted June 20, 2013 Recently replaced my injectors with 4 holes ones, all rebuilt and came with a plastic ring, and 2 rubber ones on each . one rubber on the rail side and the other 2 on the intake side. I installed awhile back and went to fire the engine up and one was leaking, I pulled the rail and noticed I am missing a few o rings and a few of the plastic ones now. I checked the holes and pulled a few out and I'm going to assume the others fell inside, is it still safe to run my engine or am I going to have to pull the manifold to try and retrieve the o rings. Are there suppost to be 1 rubber o ring on top, one rubber and a plastic one on the intake side? What keeps the o rings from falling to their death? I thought it wouldne tapered to where they would not fit down, but that was not the case Any help or advice would be appreciate, Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
92tanMJ Posted June 20, 2013 Share Posted June 20, 2013 Did you replace them with 703's? There is a lip inside the block that stops the o ring/ the injector from falling into the block. Honestly I don't know how they wouldve fallen in but its possible....not likely but possible. Do you remeber if there was orings on them when you put them in? My guess is they are still in there. Look inside the holes and see if they are still there. IF they are 703's they should look like this 703 vs stock Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

92tanMJ Posted June 20, 2013 Share Posted June 20, 2013 Holy crap you paid 100 bucks for those. I don't know man those look sketch. Like stock ones repainted, or maybe theyre the ford injectors. But I don't see 4 holes in those, just one. But anyhoo if you can see it you might be able to fish it out with the blue sticky stuff you use to put up posters and stuff.....BUT...This isn't the politically correct answer and I am sure I will get a bunch of crap but I really doubt it will hurt anything. The combustion heat will turn it to ash and blow it out the pipe, the worst case will be if it gets caught in a valve. If you are worried about it pull the intake off and get them out. If you do pull the manifold out, that would be a good time to and check and place the headers if it is cracked at the base. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
