88whitemanche
Hey guys Sorry to bother with so many questions. Can any help me with pics of the serpentine belt diagram on the 2.5.. Another question...I want to eliminate the a/c portion of the engine bay but I notice I don't have the tensioner. Is it a quick swap?
HOrnbrod
See if this helps. If not, I have a PDF I can send that shows all Jeep belt routing diagrams. http://stu-offroad.com/engine/belt/belt-1.htm
Comanchemodder
Here is an image under the hood of my 87 2WD 2.5L with A/C. The tensioner is in the power steering pump.

88whitemanche
Does anyone have any pics of where the tensioner pully is installed? Without a/c
mvusse
My 87 without AC looks like figure 27 in post number 5 or figure 13 in post number 6. The tensioner is in the power steering pump. I've actually been thinking of removing the idler pulley as it doesn't seem to do much useful.
