Bold Italic And Underline Acting Goofy

If I hit the reply button, and start typing, sometimes it is undelined or striked thru by deafult, sometimes it is italics. This happens without me selecting these option. They are already set, and it is annoying. Anyone else?

yep has been for awhile i just automaticly turn them off before typing

IE8 and IE9
