randomguy310 Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 I was at the jy and didn't have a tape measure but they looked longer but I have no idea. just curious
onlyinajeep726 Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 7. WJ rear LCA's = replace XJ front LCA's, 2" longer to accommodate a lift, some grinding required http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/budget-builds-what-junkyard-parts-will-fit-cherokee-58797/ Yes you can.
mvusse Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 At 2" longer you would need 7" to 8" of lift for the front wheels to be centered in the fender at ride height. Even then, when the suspension travels up, they will move the axle forward pushing the tires into the front of the fenders. And besides, that much lift is well beyond what should be done without a long arm conversion. So even though they *could* technically be used with some unsafe non-performing hilbilly rednecked setup, IMO, for real world application, they will be useless for any MJ or XJ.
randomguy310 Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 thanks just random thought when I saw them...
