mj.87
I have a 2” lift on my 87 jeep Comanche and I’m trying to find the best option for sway bar links. It looks like the links for the 92 are an inch longer. Does anyone know if they will work and if they will be enough to help? If you know of any other options for me I would appreciate that as well. I want to this right but at the same time keep cost to a minimum. Thanks! http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_suspension-sway-bar-link-kit-driveworks_15510466-p?searchTerm=sway+bar+link http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_suspension-sway-bar-link-kit-driveworks_15510807-p?searchTerm=sway+bar+link
HOrnbrod
Yes the 92 and up XJ/MJ end links are about 8" long and work well up to a 3" lift. They pull the sway bar about 1/2" away from the coil springs. I'm also fabbing a pair of 1" sway bar drop brackets to get the sway bar arm angle a little closer to what it should be (10*-20* up from horizontal). Will post up some pics when done. HOrnbrod
Rear f350 links 2 inch longer http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=140339183486 I did some research on the various end links used on the rear 1995 era Ford F350s. There are six different links available for these trucks depending on the wheelbase. The links above you referenced are almost 13" long. The correct end link according to the MOOG tech assist folks, also for the same vehicle, 1.9" longer than the stock unit, is the MOOG K80035 or equivalent. I just ordered a pair and will post up when I get them if they are right.
