this was a test at the apple store to upload pics on tinypic so i can post them to the club. it worked.

 

this is my duplex in nashville. they were replacing soffets and facia boards. he said it was a first to see insulation behind the facia boards. i have had to fix many things on this place.

fixed. the cement board,( don't remember the name), hasn't been put up yet

Hardyboard?  Fragile.  Expensive.  Carcinogenic.  Lasts for f'in ever.

 

Did the rot go past the fascia?  If it did then it's easiest to cut the tails at the same length to make your scabs easy to cut.
