87manche
so what's the best way to get those off. I tracked my above 45 MPH rattle to the passenger side one. I smacked it on with my hand, but I'm sre it's going to work it's way loose again. I'd like to get it off, repair whatever clips are broken and put it back on with some foam weatherstriping so it fits tight again. Do I need to fashion a slim jim like tool to get under there? DirtyComanche
Got mine off with a fine screw driver... Just pry gently working your way around... The clips will probably just come apart.

I'd like to keep it looking nice until the trail damage happens. I read somehwere: The fist dent hurts, after that it doesn't matter.
Eagle
If you just grab and yank, you have a 50% chance the "christmas tree" faster will let go, and a 50% chance you'll snap off the slot on the louver -- meaning that you'll never put it back on again. They come off by sliding UP about half an inch. The push fasteners go into a n upside-down U shaped retainer on the louver. Take a block of wood, put it under the bottom edge, and tap gently upwards.
