AeroNautical Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 I recently bought a gauge cluster to replace my idiot lights, but was told the cherokee I pulled it out of at a pull apart was a 90. After that, I pulled the one in my MJ and realized it was quite different. The whole ordeal is well documented here: http://comancheclub.com/topic/38137-from-idiot-lights-to-gauges/ Long story short, I'd like to sell the cluster I bought. It's in great shape, works just fine, as do all the lights. It reads 162792.8 miles. It's plastic welded, so changing the mileage is very difficult. Out of a 96 XJ. I'd like to atleast break even at $25.00 plus shipping. Fort Mill, SC for pickup, willing to ship in the US. Thanks.
onlyinajeep726 Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Definitely a '91+ cluster lol. If only I needed it, I'd take it off your hands.
AeroNautical Posted April 10, 2013 Author Posted April 10, 2013 Question: I tested this in a cherokee, but wondered if it would work in a 91 or 92 Comanche?
onlyinajeep726 Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 I'm not really sure. I would assume that Chrysler would have kept the MJ and XJ platforms pretty much in sync as far as revisions and updates, but I really can't verify that.
Tom Tom Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Yes it will work in a 91-92. I am using a 96 cluster in my 91 and works just fine.
