thejum57
Last year I replaced the rear brakes on the Comanche, new e-brake cable too. MA state inspection said "it doesn't hold". Adjusted the new shoes so friggin' tight the truck barely moved, well they were tight. Finally passed. This year...same thing...."it doesn't hold". Really? I know MA is an A-Hole about inspections but come on!!!! Are there any tricks to get this thing to hold? Thanks, Jim
ftpiercecracker1
Not really, i have a writeup in the DIY section on how to rebuild the E-brake. Check it out, it may give you an idea that will work in a pinch. Its kinda labor intensive but once you do it, its pretty much fixed for good.
