spencer.d.f. Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 well i got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday, so i can't work on the jeeps. thought i would post pics of them. my 89 the day i picked it up for $500. factory 4.0, auto, 231, d30 d35, with 4.10 gears. was hoping that i could throw a lift on it and be beating on it in a few weekends but ended up with more like 6 months in it. had to put an engine, trans, tcase gas tank, front axle, ect, ect. i put a yj front axle in it with factory cj rear springs. this pic was before i did a lot of tweaking on it, it flexes much better now and is great for go fast stuff. all around i would take the leafs over any short arm lift i have seen.. its kind of a long story but the windows were knocked out by a very angry little person. i never got around to putting any back and found that is really pretty nice riding on the trail with out them i don't think i will ever put any back. after a couple hard rides it got ugly. at this point its hp30 front welded spiders with vac-disconnect, 35 rear welded, soa front and rear which put me right about 5" or 6" inches of lift with q78(35.5x11) tsls and it does great for what it is. plan is to drive it till it breaks and then maybe put dana44s in it.
spencer.d.f. Posted March 19, 2013 Author Posted March 19, 2013 and my 1992 pioneer picked it up for $450 without an engine 4.0, auto, 4x4, dana 44 rear, front tow hooks, bucket seats. i put a junk yard engine in it, 2" lift and 31"s i am going to try hard not to drive this one like the 89
relyt120 Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I am completely jealous that you got both those trucks for less than I got mine AND one of them is a 92 with d44 and buckets. You lucky dog :fs1:
