Synthetic Brake Fluid Compatability

Is it ok to mix DOT3 conventional with synthetic?

Any reasons to NOT run synthetic brake fluid in our Comanches?

From what I read DOT3 & DOT4 can be mixed, no problem.  They also say that all brake fluid is synthetic, some partial and some fully synthetic.  The one that is unique is DOT5 which is a silicone base fluid, can't be mixed.

One of the best things you can do for your brake system is to completely bleed/flush it every 30,000 miles. Even using just Dot 4, the brake fluid will perform better when the brakes get hot, and you will have flushed abrasive contaminants from the system.
