mrsinister
Weary shopper, your search has come to a very fruitful end. Luckily with the emerging smart phone technology, you'll likely be continuing to read the ad and marvel at this amazing machine as you're running out the door to get the first chance to own, enjoy, and welcome this vehicle into your life. While not required, a reminder to put on pants as you leave your house. The Jeep Comanche is a rare and marvelous vehicle, as any afficianado will attest. The reason, however, these amazing machines are in such demand and quantity is a well-kept secret among the closest circles of our nation's best and brightest. Luckily, I was granted the privelage to understand the true power and grandeur of the Comanche while sharing a tall micro-brew with none other than the man himself. We all know Walker Texas ranger drove a silver 1993 Dodge 1500 pickup truck. However, this was (by no surprise) not the producers' first choice. When Chuck Norris teleported onto the set in 1992 to begin production of WTR, he was presented with the very vehicle see below- a red 1986 Comanche 2.8L V6 pickup. Ideal for Walker's character to beat down the scum of society with a roundhouse kick to your television experience. It has jaw-dropping torque and unsurpassed on- and off-road capability while whisking the driver away to a serene nirvana of driving delight. The unforeseen circumstance, however, made the Comanche's reign on WTR an epic, but short lived one. While Chuck prepared for the shoot by counting to infinity (twice), the producers wheeled the Comanche onto the set... idling in a quiet but masculine tone near the extras who would later perish by Chuck's roundhouse of justice. Chuck immediately fell in love with the red comanche and moved his feet quickly (the earth moving so he could get closer to the Comanche). The bond was instantaneous between chuck and truck.. and he settled his wrangler classic-cut denim rear into the plush seat... delighted to be in the presence of such greatness. Unfortunately, the union of Chuck's energy and that of the Comanche was far too much for the universe to handle... sending ripples through the space time continuum. Though cameras were rolling, the only footage is that of Chuck smiling followed by a flash of white light and the sound of doves crying. Overcome by greatness, Chuck released the vehicle back to the producers, and shed a single tear (subsequently curing a nearby extra of polio and impregnating the entire cheer leading squad in the adjacent studio). Following the cosmic disturbance (and subsequent LA riots from pent-up space energy), the Comanche was locked-down at area 51 until recently. Under the Freedom of Internal Combustion Act, this piece of national history was released to the public and I happened upon it in a high-stakes game of rock/paper/scissor with Morgan Freeman. Since the experience on-set instantly put 73k miles on the Comanche, the skunk works engineers at area 51 fitted the machine with new spark plugs, tires and fluids. Additionally, they added an (at the time top-secret) mobile stereo DVD player to recount the priceless seasons of Walker, Texas ranger or any lesser cinematic masterpiece. Do not let this amazing piece of history slip through your fingers; it will surely ascend far into the automotive energy of the universe, and you can be behind the wheel as it connect you with the road, the lack of road, and anything in between. MJRemi
Great truck for $2K. That should sell pretty quick. Now remove the tin foil from your head and get some sleep.
