Seller is flat out wrong. 85-87 cherokee/comanche only. maybe 88. continental U.S. only in other countries would that bolt up in another year, and in 91, most countries adopted the 2.5l VM turbo diesel.

 

bolts to an ax5, but has a 2.1 specific input shaft and bell housing.
