Biotex
Alpine, Texas 1988 base model comanche 2wd I need to update my guage cluster to get rid of the idiot lights. A tachometer would be awesome. Need a set of visors and the clips to hold them in place. Need the rocker switches and the label behind them for the fog lights. Backdraft
I think I have both of these. Minus the visors. Can you give me a couple days to get to them and snap pics for you?
Biotex
Sure thing, I'm in no hurry. It is a 420 mile round trip to the salvage yards, so needless to say I don't get to go much. I was going to purchase a whole parts xj so I could do the 4x4 conversion, but they are always 500 plus miles away... Not sure where whitehouse is, i'll have to look that one up if there really is one:-)
Backdraft
Whitehouse is in east Texas near Tyler. Looks like Alpine is WAY down there!
Biotex
I have an uncle that lives near Canton, and he comes this way every two weeks or so, so it is possible to get heavier parts here for free. I need to convert to 4x4
snakedoc67
what color of visors do you want.
Biotex
what color of visors do you want. Mine are a bluish grey, so anything that matches so so. I need those plastic clips that hold them in place also.
Biotex
Oh yeah, I need a center console also. I have the light grey (bluish) interior.

Keyav8r
Looks like whoever got the headliner took the clips for the visors. I would grab the B pillar lights for sure.
Biotex
local JY has this truck, if its the right color I can pick them up monday, Sure thing. I need some. Mine are present, but look sad. All warped and flimsy and wrinkly looking. I ordered some aftermarket b pillar lights already, so don't need those. Backdraft was going to send me some pics of his, and I don't mind buying both pairs so I can have spares. Thanks all!
Backdraft
Sorry it took so long to get pictures up. Anyway, here they are if you're still interested. You're welcome to the indiglo gauge overlays, or I can remove them for you.
Biotex
Cool! Are those the Renix guages for the early MJ's? Pre 91? Not sure what an indiglo overlay is though.
snakedoc67
I took a closer look at the sunvisors at the JY, they don't look to be in good shape, they are functional but have rips and the drivers side is flimsy with the internal support broken, so not sure if you'd be interested still. The center console is in good shape if you are looking for a short one, just had one small crack on the passenger side that wasnt very long. It runs from the bottom up to the top of the lower ridgeline but is hard to see in the pictures.
Biotex
I found a good set of visors, so no need anymore for them. My current short center console looks just like the one pictured, but on mine the ring that goes around the boot is broken or something like that. I can't get it to snap into place.
