Welcome to the site and the madness as some would say!

As a general tip, if you need help with something specific, it's best to mention it specifically, also in the thread title, and the more pictures you can provide the better. We like pictures.

This is my synopsis of the site after a couple months here:

Up on the top left of every page, under the ComancheClub banner, there are four tabs.

News is the home page of the site. You can also go there by clicking the banner itself. Mostly news seems to consist of Comanche of the month.

Members is a list of site members. Useful for finding people. Sometimes.

Forums, which you've found, is the forum. As far as I can tell this is the main function of the website. More on this below.

Shoutbox is like a chatroom. It shows up at the top of the main forum page too.

Up at the top right corner of every page are your personal features, your private message (PM) inbox, and other settings and stuff. Your username is a menu from which you can access you profile settings, avatar (your picture beside every post, and a few other places) signature (the stuff under your post) and other stuff.

Under that, there's a search bar. The grey box in it is a menu with options to search different parts of the site.

At the bottom of every page is a bunch of site statistics and other website information.

The forums, are an extensive and dynamic source of information about Comanches. Kind of like Wikipedia but better, because it's a forum, not an encyclopaedia. There are mulitple sub forums.

News and COTM: news and comanche of the month. Mostly the same stuff as what's on the home page.

MJ tech: techical information that's comanche specific. (MJ is Jeep's internal designation of the Comanche). There's lots of stuff in here. As with every sub forum, really useful threads (and forum rules) get pinned to the top. If you're having an issue or just have a question about your Comanche, search this forum. If you can't find anything, post a question. It's a good idea to be specific both in the title/subject and the post itself, so others can help you more easily, and so others who might also have this problem/question can find your answer more easily by searching. Always mention your truck's general details, i.e. 2wd/4wd, which engine/transmission/transfer case, short wheelbase or long, any variable which can narrow down the issue to your specific truck.

The Pub: random stuff that's mostly not Comanche related. Things that you want to share, non-mj questions, funny stuff, things you've been up to, anything really... There's a "popular threads" subforum here too that has threads like "what did you do to your comanche today", "accident pics", "you know you own an MJ if...", threads that invite other people to share, so they're popular.

Your Project MJ's: want to make an ongoing blog about your Comanche? Start a thread here, and post updates in it. Watch what other people are doing with theirs, and stea- sorry, adapt - their ideas for your truck if you like them. Subforum: past MJ's of the Month, which is self-descriptive.

DIY-project write-ups: Did something creative with your truck? Want to share how you did it? Post a write up with lots of pictures so other people can do it too if they want. Useful info/ popular/ essential mods are pinned. One of these pinned threads is a very useful list of common acronyms. Subforum: Comanche registry: register the vin of your comanche and every one you see (with obvious limits) so people know where they are and what shape they're in. Even if it's in a junkyard, someone might want parts. Pix are useful. There's also an ongoing effort to track down the last comanche produced.

Wheeling trips and Meet-and-greets: If you're planning on going wheeling, post info and maybe some other people from your area will come, or find out if someone else is planning one so you can crash it. Also useful for finding other site members in your area and meeting up with them for purposes other than wheeling. Split into subforums by vague geographic location.

Classifieds: classified ad listings, three subforums: For sale (stuff you're selling), Wanted (stuff you're looking for) and Craigslist/ebay &c (ads you found online that aren't yours but you want to share) There's also a subforum for vendors to list stuff.

Forums problems or website suggestions: as per title, issues with the website itself

Testing, 1,2: A dark, out of the way corner to experiment with forum features. Doesn't really get much attention.

So not knowing what you're looking for, I've given you everything I can think of. Happy browsing!
