Exgrayxj
I don't think my truck will even make it that far... Is this a good rear? As in bolt in and go? Mine is getting pretty noisy. At this point I just want a quiet rear . I am in Lake county.

In order to work in an XJ, it will need the spring perches moved and XJ shock mounts added.

I do, however, have another, 87 XJ Wagoneer, LT1 Chevy powered, along with my '90 MJ Sport/short/4by/AW4.

Exgrayxj - you say your '90 MJ is a 4by...just a reminder, this is geared 3.55. that is a long way to travel....about an hour and a half one way...i have never heard any noise coming from the rear with that axle in it, however, ive only driven it locally a couple of times as its never been registered or insured under my name. if it werent for my dd being an SUV, id offer to meet you in the orlando area, but idk how soon ill be trading in for a truck (if that even happens soon) any questions, just ask. its still sitting with no offers
