Throwout bearing went out no big deal. I did notice a lot off oil in bellhousing clutch disk is dry rear main seal is dry. Transmission shifts into gear smooth. The main shaft that goes into back of the motor has a littlle play in it would this cause a worn seal. thanks

All input shafts on standard transmissions have a little play. When they're installed the snout is in the pilot bushing and keeps it steady,. Normal wear will do a seal in.

Are you referring to the crankshaft rear seal or the transmission front seal?

transmission front seal i guess because whole inside of bellhousing is coverd with oil.

External slave. There is some springs that hold the throwout bearing to the fork inside the bellhousing

The spring i am talking about is a fork pivit spring. Goes on opposit side of external slave cylinder on the inside of fork. Hope i didnt make this confusing.thanks
