Virginia
So yesterday I'm working under the truck to bleed the clutch and see that some wires have fallen on top of the exhaust pipe and melted all together. They go the the shift case and transfer case. Two electrical wires and 4 small vacuum hoses. Needless to say, they'd been fused together. I cut them and put the wires back together but have no clue which vacuum hose goes to which. Does this come as some sort of harness or am I going to have to try and follow a diagram and put new hoses on one at a time? I'm also assuming that I have no 4 wheel drive until this is fixed. I fused the hoses closed and the truck works fine except for my continued clutch problem.
Pete M
Have you bypassed the CAD in the front axle yet?
Virginia
I wouldn't have any idea. What's that?
Pete M
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18415 Do this and all those vacuum lines are rendered pointless. don't worry, 4wd is still controlled by your t-case. this mod will just make your truck like any Jeep after the early 90s with a one-piece shaft up there.
