Radio not working...

I just installed a new radio a couple months ago and today it decided to completely turn off. I checked all the wire connections and they're good, the fuses are good as well. I am thinking it may have something to do with the ground wire. Any thoughts? I kept the original radio and tried putting that one back in to see if it was the new radio that died, but that one wouldn't turn on either.

Take a test light and see if you have power, if yes, find your ground and clean it up.

 

Also there maybe more than 1 fuse to check,

1. inline just behind the new radio, cylindrical lookin

2. fuse box itself

3. on the back of new radio, literally, mine has this

I am having trouble with my new (#3 for the MJ) radio. Sometimes I get no sound. It has power - the lights display, the clock keeps time, the station presets are kept.

 

The fuses are all good. The wires are good, because when it does work, it works fine.

 

I am thinking it is the high quaility, top of the line, Wal-Mart radio :ack: I bought.

 

I sometimes pop off the face plate, hit the rest button, then re-program my stations and it works...for a while.
