86' comanche, long wheel base. I need the cable that runs from the e brake split-bracket to the drum brake housing on the passenger side. At this time, I only have the drivers side e brake hooked up. I dsconnected the passenger side cable from the lever inside the drum housing. Does anyone think this is a bad idea?

The left and right rear e-brake cables from the splitter to the drums are the same, p/n 52000865.

In the early days of automobiles brakes were unreliable. It was called an 'Emergency Brake' for a reason. As brakes became more reliable the term 'parking brake' came into vogue. You could probably get by as is, but personally I would fix it.
