4.0L year determination needed...

I need some help determining the year on a 4.0L that a buddy picked up in a trade. It is completely different then my 90 4.0L (renix) motor. This motor has 909MX- 11 or II on the valve cover. I would say its 91-92 or newer.

On the valve cover of the donor 4.0L is 009MX25. Trying to determine the year so I can find the correct range of engine harnesses for a swap into a CJ. :thumbsup:

Do you need more info or can someone help me on what I have posted.

Valve covers can be swapped around easily between the 4.0 engines and wouldn't be an accurate way to verify the year mfg. A more accurate way would be to ID the block and head casting numbers. Here's how to do it:
