No prob. i specialize in being the "solutions guy"

And one of my biggest studies and research has been on ring and pinion life, especially on weak units.

I am one of the top s2000 builders in the country. Well the s2000 has a history of differential failures.

Fluid IS the problem.

If the fluid is not the proper stuff, then it allows metal to metal contact. Then stuff misaligns, I'm talkin by thounsandths of an inch and the unit does a pufferfish effect.. then its over.

It swells enough to skip a tooth, or shall i say... move the load out to an undesired portion of the tooth/teeth and BOOM there goes your ring.

This is the case in most final drives.

I have also drag raced my entire life.

The difference between an exploded final drive and one that holds is always in the setup and the fluid.

Units that others say are "known to be weak" are simply not being properly set up for the intended use.

That extreme pressure gear oil i showed you, has solved about 90% of our differential failures in the s2000 world.

75/90... BOOM. extreme pressure 90/110. stays in one piece.

Guys were breaking differentials in as little as 9 clutch dumps on the street.

I had over 3500 7k rpm clutch dumps (drag race starts) on my diff when i sold the car. I proved the fluid had solved the issue. This fluid is now the s2000 industry standard. :)

Hope this helps the comanche community. Its what ill be running in my D30 when i do a non CAD upgrade and 33s or 35s

I think either one is good tho as ive sprayed other stuff with them both but raptor is much finer texture then Xsteme even when theres no additives!!I like it and I'm a sucker for black!!!
