summerinmaine
Just had one of the connectors in the fuse block break on me. It had been weak, causing a loose connection and some arcing/melting of the plastic fuse "housing." So I tried to shim it with a wooden toothpick, and it just broke completely. I know I could replace the entire block, but has anyone ever tried to replace the individual connectors without the hassle of wiring in an entire replacement block? If so, how did you do it and where could I get the replacement connectors? ps. The master cylinder hasn't leaked all over it, so I'd like not to replace the entire thing if I don't have to. foreman1063
I found these after I replaced the fuse block on my 88. I would have tried these if i would have found them first. http://www.delcity.net/store/Fuse-Block ... /p_177.a_1
skidoo_j
I had the same issue with my brake light fuse contact. I however found my self not able to get to the back of the fuse panel. The wires are incredibly tight behind the panel and I couldn't acquire enough slack to turn the panel. I only unscrewed the stuff through the cab so maybe there are other places to create slack. what i ended up doing was making my fuse blades thicker by putting a drop of solder on them then flattening it out some. Has done the trick for me so far. I'm going to stay tuned just incase someone posts the magic required to get to the back of the fuse panel with out tearing apart the entire truck.
