Zenobian_84 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Cleaned these up recently (pictures are from before cleanup) and I was wondering what kind of adhesive you use to put these back on an XJ/MJ. Is it just 2 sided tape? Or something stronger? Seems like it would be some pretty heavy duty stuff.... :hmm: :dunno:
Automan2164 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Clean them up real well, rub everything down with some 3M adhesive remover, and use 3M molding tape. Rob
HOrnbrod Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 :agree: Use the 1/2" wide 3M double sided molding tape on the molding top and bottom, and of course, clean the body side surfaces well before mounting them. I put mine on about 7-8 years ago and they are still hanging true.
