my86mj Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Sir i think i can do you one better. except mine is with pictures and a story no video. so i have short gears (4.10s) and back when i was rocking snow camo in the winter it started getting wet outside. well all my friends have tuners built to go sideways or 3/4 ton trucks built to handle some jolts. well they started doing burnouts and donuts and when it was my turn i go for first gear and slam the gas. well the 2.8 has enough gusto to spin them and the tranny took it. my problem was because the gears are so short that i get axle hop like nobodies business. well sure enough tires met pavement and i blew the spider gears leaving a maximum of 3 teeth on each gear. trust me i was happy. but thats not it. from the years of wear and tear from the PO when i put it in 4lo to get it on the trailer and moved forward an inch suddenly boom the transfer case explodes. all over the pavement. well this is how i upgraded my rear to some yukon metal. lesson learned the jeep comanche was built to do many things but was not built for burnouts.

jimoshel Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I mounted a set of 8.50X10 tires and wheels on my MJ. Got 'em off my riding lawn mower. I can do burn outs all day, or for 5 minutes before they burn out. Hasn't fazed the D35 one bit. :huh???:
