8.8 rear swap

I've swapped a 8.8 in my 88 Comanche. What do I have to do to the master cylinder to make it work correctly?

the master requires nothing. are you asking about a proportioning valve?

I thought I read somewhere about removing the check valve behind the seat in the master cylinder???

are you talking about the XJ prop valve? MJs don't have that. we have a plain old splitter valve up front (looks like a prop valve). we have a rear height-sensing prop valve.

no not the proportional valve. Isn't there a check valve that holds pressure on the drum brakes in the master cylinder??

I put a 98 grand Cherokee break booster master and portion valve in mine rig and seems to work good with my 8.8

it's on the road using stock master cylinder for now. I need to get some wheel spacers for it though!
